Exhilarated.

Well, so far things have kind of, gone well, although I have to admit my last shift at work until I transfer was a bit awful, it was good as I got to see many of my regular and favorite customers, and a great dinner, but from meaning to finish at eight and then instead closing at ten thirty in which case I haven’t done a close in about, two, maybe three months? Definitely annoyed me a lot. But my duty manager was very generous, kindly brought me a huge box of rose chocolates which were completely unexpected! And also wishing me the best of luck with the transfer and all, I have to say I’m going to miss quite a few people I worked with. I’ve had quite a few good times, although the change in management had messed up a lot of things and changed too much of what used to be really good, but in all fairness I’m very glad I have worked there for the past year, and in majority has been really good working there.

Anyhow, the big weekend is here for moving the rest of the stuff to Wellington, as well as saying the last goodbye to the people I know here. Going to miss quite a few I have to say, and it’ll definitely won’t be the same, main thing is I’ll finally be out of this town and actually getting a huge kick start to my career. Lately I’ve finally got the motivation to get back into my drawing, and am now going to begin a series I think with what I’ve started. Time will tell though, mainly the more practice I get, the better, only need to start making a bigger and better portfolio so I actually have something to show for when I do get into design, along with actually getting my creativity back into gear.

And, on top of all that…I need to get back into editing code and maybe redo the layout of this blog. It’s been months since I last updated/refreshed this thing, aha!
